UV-Curable Coatings
High-gloss wood, metal and plastic coatings cured by UV LED or mercury lamps.
UV-curable coatings demand photoinitiator packages that deliver through-cure without yellowing. Our TPO, TPO-L and 819 provide deep cure under pigmented systems, while 184 and 1173 deliver surface cure with low odor for furniture and flooring. For UV LED lines at 395–405 nm, acylphosphine oxides combined with ITX/EDB synergists achieve full cure at line speeds above 30 m/min.

UV Printing Inks
Offset, flexo and inkjet inks requiring instant surface cure and low migration.
Pigmented UV inks block penetration light, so surface-active photoinitiators are critical. ITX with EDB amine synergist is the industry-standard package for dark offset inks, while our low-odor 184 grades serve food packaging applications with migration limits. Inkjet formulators rely on our high-purity TPO-L liquid for fast, filterable, low-viscosity formulations.

Halogen-free flame retardants for PCB laminates, encapsulants and connectors.
WEEE/RoHS pressure has moved electronics toward phosphorus-based, halogen-free flame retardancy. Our DOPO and DOPO-HQ react into epoxy resin chains of PCB laminates achieving UL 94 V-0 at low loadings without compromising Tg. Oligomeric phosphates PX-200 and BDP flame-retard PC/ABS housings with excellent hydrolytic stability and no plate-out.

Outdoor durability is a system design: UV-770 low-molecular HALS delivers outstanding cost-effective stabilization in PP, while oligomeric UV-944 and UV-622 survive extraction in films and fibers. Combined with UV absorber UV-326 to protect the polymer bulk, and processed with AO-1010/AO-168 blends to prevent degradation during compounding, films retain >90% elongation after years of weathering.

UV adhesives for glass bonding and electronics assembly require deep, shadow-free cure.
