Product Description
Antioxidant 168 is the world's leading phosphite secondary antioxidant. Where phenolic antioxidants terminate radical chains, 168 decomposes the hydroperoxides formed during processing — preventing melt flow index drift, yellowing and gel formation during extrusion and molding.
Its synergy with phenolic primary antioxidants is the backbone of modern stabilizer packages: the classic AO-1010/AO-168 1:2 blend protects polyolefins through multiple processing passes while keeping color development minimal. Blends in any ratio are available from Aolong pre-mixed.
Typical loadings are 0.05–0.3 wt% in processing packages. Aolong 168 is produced to ≥99.0% assay with melting range 182–186 °C and tight phosphite hydrolysis control for reliable storage in humid climates.
