Light Stabilizers (HALS)
Light Stabilizer UV-622
Oligomeric HALS (dimethyl succinate / 4-hydroxy-TEMPO polymer)
Oligomeric HALS for thin films and fibers — extraction-resistant and food-contact friendly.
Product Description
UV-622 is an oligomeric hindered amine light stabilizer with molecular weight around 3,000–4,000. This oligomeric structure dramatically reduces volatility and migration compared to monomeric HALS, making it the stabilizer of choice for thin films, fibers and food packaging where extractables are regulated.
Its polymeric backbone also provides processing stabilization, protecting polyolefins during extrusion. In LLDPE greenhouse films and EVA agricultural covers, UV-622 based systems survive multiple seasons even under pesticide pressure, especially when combined with the chelated systems used against agrochemical deactivation.
Typical loadings are 0.1–1.0 wt% depending on application lifetime. Aolong UV-622 is supplied as free-flowing granular powder for clean, dust-controlled masterbatch production.
