Photoinitiators
Photoinitiator PAG-023
(4-Fluorophenyl)diphenylsulfonium triflate
Triflate photoacid generator for chemically amplified resists and high-acidity cure.
Product Description
PAG-023 is a diaryl(4-fluorophenyl)sulfonium trifluoromethanesulfonate. The triflate anion ranks among the strongest acids liberatable by UV exposure, making PAG-023 the generator of choice for chemically amplified resists, deprotection imaging chemistries and demanding cationic formulations.
Its non-nucleophilic acid does not terminate growing cationic chains, supporting clean polymer architecture in precision imaging and microelectronics. Typical use: 0.5–2 wt% depending on acid demand.
