Photoinitiators
Photoinitiator EAB
4,4′-Bis(diethylamino)benzophenone
The most potent benzophenone-type amine synergist for maximum cure speed.
Product Description
EAB carries amine groups on both aromatic rings, making it the strongest hydrogen-donating synergist in the benzophenone family. Small amounts dramatically raise the cure speed of ITX, DETX, MBP and thioxanthone packages, especially in black inks where light is scarce.
Its strong amine character means yellowing must be considered in white systems, so EAB is primarily specified for dark inks, black offset systems and cationic sensitization where its performance justifies formulation care. Typical dosage: 0.5–2 wt%.
