Product Description
UV-328 is a highly efficient benzotriazole UV absorber with strong absorption across 300–390 nm and excellent solubility in common coating solvents and polymer matrices. It has been a long-standing choice for automotive refinish coatings, polycarbonate sheet and engineering plastics.
Its pentyl substitution provides outstanding compatibility with acrylic, polyester and polyurethane binders, delivering haze-free clarity in thick sections and clear coats. In polycarbonate, UV-328 protects against yellowing and loss of impact strength under outdoor exposure.

Typical loadings are 0.2–1.0 wt% in plastics and 1–3 wt% in coating solids depending on film thickness and exposure severity.
