Flame Retardants
Flame Retardant TCPP
Tris(2-chloroisopropyl) phosphate
The cost-efficient chlorinated phosphate standard for rigid PU insulation foam.
Product Description
TCPP is the world's most widely used flame retardant for rigid polyurethane and polyisocyanurate insulation foam. Its phosphorus and chlorine act in gas and condensed phases simultaneously, raising the oxygen index of foam from ~21% to 25–26% at loadings of 8–15 pphp (parts per hundred polyol).
Its low viscosity and reactive-tolerant chemistry make TCPP easy to meter into continuous sandwich panel and spray foam lines without disrupting the polyol blend balance. It also serves flexible PU foam, PVC plastisols and phenolic foams where cost-efficient flame protection is essential.
Aolong TCPP is distilled to ≥99.5% purity with water content ≤0.1% and low acidity, protecting catalyst balance and foam cell structure in precision insulation production.
