Photoinitiators
Photoinitiator MBF
Methyl benzoylformate
Liquid benzoylformate initiator trusted in electronics and imaging systems.
Product Description
MBF is a small, fully liquid Type I photoinitiator with a long track record in microelectronics. Its benzoylformate chromophore cleaves efficiently at 300–370 nm, and the liquid form gives excellent solubility and clean filtration for fine-line imaging systems.
MBF is especially established in PCB legend inks, liquid photoresists and optical fiber coatings, where its low ionic impurities and consistent viscosity are valued. Typical loadings are 2–5 wt%.
