Product Description
UV-928 is a benzotriazole UV absorber developed for high-performance coatings, covering 290–380 nm. Its cumyl and tert-octyl substitution delivers excellent photopermanence — absorption capacity decays little under long-term exposure, keeping films from chalking and gloss loss.
UV-928 dissolves readily in common coating solvents and resin systems, allowing high-concentration, low-precipitation clears and pigmented paints. Its thermal permanence withstands the high stoving schedules of powder and coil coatings without decomposition or yellowing.
Typical addition is 1–3% on resin solids, commonly paired with HALS such as UV-292 or UV-123. Aolong UV-928 is ≥99.0% assay with consistent batches.
